Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

Heavily backed up by scientific research, CBT is the must-have psychotherapy for the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, anger management, work-stress and more. Click here to find out more.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Endorsed by the BMA, hypnotherapy is one of the oldest of therapies and has been around for thousands of years. You’ll be surprised at all the different things it can help with. Find out more here.

Life Coaching

A life coach guides you through obstacles in either your personal or professional life and helps you to choose a course of action that takes you from where you are to where you want to be. A key aspect of coaching is confidence. Learn more here.

Skype Therapy

Some people prefer therapy from the comfort of their own home. Both CBT and hypnotherapy delivered online or over the phone are just as effective as when delivered face-to-face. I’ve helped many people this way. Click here to learn more.

Cognitive behaviour therapy, clinical hypnotherapy and life coaching, for personal development and the treatment of anxiety disorders, anger management, depression, insomnia, work-related stress and more . . .

Hello there, I’m a Bristol-based cognitive behavior therapist, clinical hypnotherapist and life coach; here to help you achieve your goals.

A former journalist and writer (so I know a thing or two about stress, pressure and deadlines), I hold a BA (Hons) in journalism and sociology and an MSc in rational-emotive and cognitive behaviour therapy (RECBT). I also hold a diploma in clinical hypnosis and another (with distinction) in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy.

I’ve been in private practice since 2004 and moved to Bristol in 2016. I currently run a private clinic in Southville, work for a Bristol-based private hospital and for the occupational health division of a London-based private healthcare company.

Prior to that move I ran successful practices in several Central and South London locations, worked as a specialist for the Royal Brompton Hospital, lectured at the –

College of Cognitive Behaviour Therapies, wrote and presented my own specialist workshops on a variety of topics, ran corporate workshops and presented topics on mental health and wellbeing at various public events.

Cognitive behavioural coaching (CBC), meanwhile, is a powerful system that draws upon the strengths of the CBT framework and is recognised by many coaching schools.

Having an experienced, trained professional offer you a safe and non-judgmental space in which to explore and manage your life issues can provide immense relief and is often instrumental in helping you regain control.

People often value the clear concise, solution-focused frameworks offered by CBT, CBC and hypnotherapy.

I’ve helped hundreds of people to either manage their lifestyle and work problems more effectively or to let go of them completely. I’d love to help you too.
