Although I specialise in helping people deal with anxiety and work stress, over the years I have built up a lot of experience in other areas listed below…
Pain Control
In 2008 I was hired as a specialist by The Royal Brompton Hospital, helping patients manage a condition known as Cardiac Syndrome X (CSX). This is chest pain in the absence of any coronary abnormalities. I’ve also helped people with angina, migraines, tensions headaches and more. Hypnotherapy has a fine history of reducing the perception of pain.
Insomnia
Poor sleep is a big problem. Good sleep comes with so many mental and physical health benefits, that sleep should be more of a priority than it is. Insomnia responds very well to hypnosis, whilst CBT can help you deal with those troublesome thoughts that keep you awake at night.
Weight Control
Whether you want to lose a few pounds or a few stone, I’ve had plenty of experience helping people with their health and fitness goals – not just with losing weight, but achieving their fitness and sporting goals too!
Addictions
Alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling and food: people can become addicted to anything. A combination of CBT and hypnotherapy is excellent for helping you regain control and I’ve helped many people to do just that.
Confidence Issues
If you suffer from low confidence, or low self-esteem, I can help. In fact, I don’t even like the term self-esteem. I prefer self-worth: so what if you make mistakes? You’re still great – you are a worthwhile, fallible human being, just like everyone else!
Jealousy
Of all the relationship problems, jealousy is the most common and most troublesome. Jealousy can wreck the relationship you’re trying so hard to protect. Thankfully, taming the green-eyed monster is easier than you think.
Anger Management
Again, I’ve had a lot of experience in helping people who have anger management issues, not just on the work front, but elsewhere in life too.
More therapies
CBT and hypnotherapy can also help with reactive depression, guilt, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), irritating skin conditions, nail biting, hair pulling and more.
