Do You Want to Feel like Spring has Sprung?
It’s Easter, a time for renewal, rebirth and resurrection, a celebration of new life and the passing of spring into summer. It’s also the time for a good old spring clean, literally, metaphorically, physically and emotionally. So, as the days get longer, brighter and warmer and as summer beckons, where do you want to start?
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy are both excellent tools for change and growth. They can help with emotional problems such as anxiety, depression and anger management; they can help you deal with guilt and shame, cope with relationship problems such as jealousy and more.
Both therapies can also help you deal with addictions, whilst hypnotherapy is one of the best methods for stopping smoking altogether. It’s also a great tool for anyone wishing to shed a few pounds in time for their summer holidays.
Or, maybe, you’re just plain stuck in a rut and need some helping getting out.
Both the NHS and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), consider CBT to be the gold standard of treatment for a wide variety of problems, while the British Medical Association (BMA) endorses hypnotherapy.
I’ve been in practice since 2004 and have helped hundreds of people make positive changes in their lives. So, if you’re looking for a cognitive behaviour therapist, trying to find a good clinical hypnotherapist or are looking for an experienced psychotherapist, you’ve found one here.
But there are also excellent places to find hundreds of other therapists from dozens of different backgrounds and disciplines. These include, websites such as The Counselling Directory and The Hypnotherapy Directory. You might also want to take a look at the websites for the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), The Association of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT), The British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) and the National Hypnotherapy Society.
So, whether it’s weight control, stopping smoking, dealing with fears and anxieties, letting go of depression or dealing with stress and confidence issues in a whole new way, isn’t it time you made a change?
It’s what Easter’s all about. That, and chocolate eggs.
